The BSCE curriculum is a four year program of study that prepares students to pursue careers in the Civil and Environmental Engineering profession, inclusive of environmental, geotechnical, structural, and transportation engineering sub-disciplines. Students may also earn a concentration in Energy Infrastructure, Structural, Land Development Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Transportation, or Environmental/Water Resources Engineering (a separate designation on their final transcript).
The Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) Department is committed to quality academic and career advising for all students. We support the success of our students and assist our students with an efficient degree completion process. Students admitted to the College of Engineering who are completing freshman level courses will be assigned an advisor in the Office of Student Development and Success to ensure a successful first year transition into UNC Charlotte. Upon completion of freshman level courses, students will be assigned an advisor within the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
