Academic advising is an integral part of any student’s education. Thus in our department, ALL Civil and Environmental Engineering undergraduate students are required to meet with their advisor each semester to verify that they will be enrolling in the correct classes in the following semester.

CEE in collaboration with the College of Engineering will be launching eAdvising fall of 2010 for the spring registration. Students needing further assistance can request an advising appointment via eAdvising or email.

Freshman

All freshman engineering students are advised by the Office of Student Development and Success (OSDS). Go here to view freshman advising information.

Sophomores, Junior, and Senior CEE Students

Sophomore, junior, and senior Civil and Environmental Engineering students are advised by faculty and staff of our department. Departmental academic advising occurs each semester during the two weeks prior to the start of registration.
CEE, in collaboration with the College of Engineering, will be launching eAdvising in the fall of 2010 for the spring registration. eAdvising will provide academic advising at your fingertips.  Once you have completed your academic plan and submit via eAdvising your advisor can then approve your courses and respond appropriately. Students needing further assistance can request an advising appointment via eAdvising or email.

During the advising appointment, your advisor will review your completed coursework and the Schedule Request Form to make sure the student will be enrolling in the correct courses during the upcoming semester. Students should ask any questions regarding courses, the BSCE plan of study, grades, GPA, career advice, or anything related to their education.
