The Civil and Environmental Department in housed in the EPIC (Energy Production and Infrastructure Center) Building at UNC Charlotte. EPIC is 200,000 square feet of LEED-Gold standard certified space. It hosts state-of-the-art classrooms, lecture halls, conference rooms and research laboratories.  Among these are the High-Bay Structures Laboratory, the Pavement Materials Performance Laboratory, and a Water Resources Research Lab.
